Adam Hart is a native New Yorker. He is a singer-songwriter folk-rock and cover artist here in the Rivertowns for two decades. With a Master of Education, Adam specializes in teaching guitar and voice in singer-songwriter styles, including music theory, classic rock, blues, bossa nova, and a touch of baroque. Adam was interviewed by Bob Sherman on WFUV’s “The Folk Songs of Woody’s Children” in 2016, and his songs can be found online as a solo artist as well as with the folk-rock group Riverrun. Adam has made his love of music and community a centerpiece of his teaching. He has been a song leader at Woodlands Community Temple for a decade and continues teaching a guitar workshop at PS 75 in the upper west side of New York. Adam has produced the RiverArts Music Tour, as well as being a performer in it since the event started and has hosted the solar-powered waterfront stage.
Andrew V Craig has performed outdoors in Greenwich Village as part of Make Music NY and TimeOut magazine events, with Pete Seeger at the Beacon waterfront, and opened for Rod MacDonald at the Uptown Coffee House. He has also played at New York City venues like The Bitter End, Kenny’s Castaways and The Uptown Coffee House.Andrew studied string bass with Jack Messing, Arnold Schnitzer, and Dr. Lyn Christie; jazz composition with Irwin Stahl; vocal/string/band pedagogy with Diana Mittler-Battipaglia; and songwriting with Dar Williams and the WASTM retreat. His writing is influenced by his five children, his students, and his Bronx neighbors.
